My background in Real Estate goes back 30 years, when my Realtor father encouraged
me to follow in his footsteps. It was judicious advice, and I still utilize his recommendations and counsel. With a degree in Sociology from Colby College in Waterville, Maine, and prior to becoming a Realtor, I worked as a Social Worker for 11 years. The knowledge gave me insight and many useful skills in guiding clients through their Real Estate experiences.
I believe in a strong commitment to my community, and that philosophy is reflected in
the activity of all of our agents. Before settling in Bath, I was the Director of Metropolitan Opera Auditions in Los Angeles, CA. I have been President of Bath’s Garden Club, and
a board member of the Portland String Quartet and the Portland Domestic Violence Shelter. I am presently a board member of Maine’s First Ship, which is building a replica of The Virginia, the first ship ever built in the New World at Popham Beach in 1607.
Sharon Drake Real Estate reflects my personal commitment to provide “Platinum Real Estate” service, and to be acknowledged as the most caring, committed and professional Realtor in Maine’s Mid Coast Region.
